Financial Mediation Services

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary, cooperative settlement process in which a neutral professional helps you make practical, informed decisions to assist in the resolution of your dispute.  At BP, our approach is to assist the parties in reaching a reasonable settlement by interpreting the numbers and consulting on standard practices, thereby increasing their understanding of the other party’s position and introducing improved communication between the parties, as well as resolving the specific specific dispute between the parties.

Some parties retain an attorney to consult with during the mediation process.  The parties may use the attorney to ask questions, bounce ideas off of, and clarify the legal issues.  At the end of the mediation process, and prior to signing a contract.

Mediating a case before litigation enables the parties to present their case to a mutually selected neutral person before any money is spent on litigation. The cost of mediating a case is minimal compared to the costs incurred through the life litigation.

Mediation is the cutting edge dispute resolution process which resolves litigation at a fraction of the cost, time, and emotional pain of trail.
